Chilly, wet and windy June day

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) ▬ We are tracking temps staying cool today with 50s and a brief tick up to 62°F. Rain is moving in off of Lake Michigan and will being with it some nasty winds gusting up to 35 mph. With the cool temps and rain it is not going to be a very nice day. Temps are running about 20°F below average.

The rain will end before sunset and the clouds could clear out before then too. Tonight winds die down to 10 mph with a low 50°F.

Friday will be much nicer with sunshine most of the day and a warmer high of 72°F. Clouds will increase Friday night with a low of 58°F.

Saturday we are tracking showers and thunderstorms to move in. Not expecting any severe weather, but it will be a stormy weekend. Temps will be into the mid 70s to low 80s.

Rain chances continue into Monday and the rest of the work week with temps remaining slightly below average.
