FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) ▬ Another beautiful day ahead for the Summit City with a high of 69°F and partly cloudy skies into the afternoon.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 52°F.
There could be some patchy fog Thursday morning. However, we will warm up to 75°F with partly cloudy skies. We are tracking a cold front off to the north that will be approaching us and setting off a few thunderstorms into the evening and overnight hours. We are giving Thursday evening and night a Thunderstorms Impact Number of 1 out of 5 on our exclusive scale at Fort Wayne’s NBC. There will be a round of thunderstorms that pushes though parts of northern Indiana Thursday afternoon into the evening. The next round will happen after midnight and could linger into the morning hours Friday. The cold front we are tracking will stall north of Fort Wayne along the Indiana-Michigan state-line. However, it will be the focal point for storms to fire off Friday morning into Friday afternoon.
Friday more thunderstorms are possible with a high of 78°F.
The first 80s of the year are on the way for the weekend with a high of 80°F Saturday with partly cloudy skies and 81°F Sunday with cloudy skies and a chance for some thunderstorms.
Monday will still be mild with 70s and mostly cloudy skies.
