FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) ▬ We are tracking much cooler temps with 40s and 30s during the day. There will be some rain mixed with snow, but temps will remain above freezing and there will be NO snow accumulation. Winds will be breezy at times with gusts up to 30 mph.

The rain and snow will become more scattered tonight as temps continue to fall. The precipitation is expected to stop falling before temps get below freezing after midnight.

There could still be a few lake effect snow flurries on Saturday morning. Winds will be lighter on Saturday with gusts up to 25 mph and a high of 38°F.

We will be tracking a small chance of rain on Sunday for St. Patrick’s Day in the morning with partly cloudy skies and a cool high of 41°F.

Monday temps will still be cool with partly cloudy skies and a high of 42°F.

We will slowly warm on up little by little each day starting with below freezing temps each morning. No precipitation to track either until possibly the following weekend.
