Just a freshman, Jake DeFries took Indiana Tech baseball to the second round of the NAIA World Series with an RBI single, driving home Brandon Burch for the game-winning, 3-2, run in the 10th inning of Friday’s game.

DeFries would also put the ball in play that would score the first run of the game, a two-out error to second would bring in Reese Olden.

Glen McClain would double home the second run of the ball-game.

The Warriors take on No. 1 ranked Tennessee Wesleyan Saturday at 6 p.m. EDT.
