FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE’S NBC) — Matt Crable completed six touchdown passes, leading Saint Francis to a victory over Saint Francis of Illinois.

Now his arm strength and accuracy are recognized by the conference, as he’s name Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Player of the Week.

The Cougars are in a bye week, before facing Robert Morris on Sept. 21st.

“This week will be like a camp practice almost. We will do a lot of competitive stuff against our defense. We will put in a start up plan against Robert Morris but won’t get too in depth with it until next week,” Crable said.

The game begins at 7:30 p.m.
