FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE’S NBC) – It was a battle to the very end of the Women’s City Golf Tournament, even if Lori Stinson didn’t know it.

“I hit it, I don’t know, maybe five feet below the hole and was like, just trust it and get it in,” Stinson said. “I didn’t have any idea where Sarah was. I think I’m grateful for that. She had a great round.”

Bishop Dwenger graduate, Sarah Frazier made a run in the final round, shooting three-under par.

She finished in second place.

Stinson shot a 76 on her final round and completed the tournament six-over par.

She claims back-to-back titles and her fifth overall.

“To come out here and to play and compete, I’ve very grateful for the opportunity. It feels pretty cool, Michelle Smith has 5 titles, so I’ve joined her club again. It feels great,” Stinson said.
