Fort Wayne, Ind. (FORT WAYNE’S NBC) – The Indiana Tech women’s basketball team put forth a big second half effort against the University of Northwestern Ohio to go on to win, 72-48. With the victory, the Warriors set a new program record with 21 straight wins.
“This wasn’t a goal we had at the beginning of the year. We had three goals, but this is kind of just part of the process,” Coach Jessie Biggs said. “We’re just enjoying the ride.”
“I don’t think anyone expected this. I think people were watching us to see how we were going to bounce back. What are they going to do now? I think what we have done has really surprised people,” Kendall Knapke said.
Indiana Tech can continue the streak on Saturday against Madonna University.
