FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — The Mad Ants are in middle of a six-game home stretch. On Monday night, the Canton Charge beat the Mad Ants 96-81. Turnovers and poor energy plagued the team’s momentum all night. The Mad Ants gave the ball up 24 times on turnovers, while the Charge racked up 12 steals.

“Our energy was low. It’s been like that the last couple of days. We missed out on a opportunity to get a win over a divisional opponent,” Head Coach Steve Gansey said.

“I think we really didn’t have the energy on the defensive end, that translated to the offensive end. Guys weren’t really mentally there,” Stephan Hicks said.

In the first game back at the Memorial Coliseum, Fort Wayne lost to the Raptors 905. In a bounce-back game, the Mad Ants offensive lead the way past Windy City. The Mad Ants will return to their home court on Friday, December 7th at 7 p.m. against Long Island.
