City council to vote on hiring consulting team

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Fort Wayne City Council is expected to decide if they will pay for a consulting team to create a development plan.

Inside Indiana Business reports that council members will decide if they will spend $670,000 and another $334,000 for Allen County to hire a consulting team. The team would plan the futures of land use and other developments.

The last time a comprehensive plan like this was adopted was in 2007. The project is expected to start in January 2020 and finish at the end of 2021.
