Elkhart woman wanted for murder

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Elkhart County Police need your help find a woman wanted for murder.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit and the United States Federal Marshall’s Office are requesting public assistance in locating Iman Cashmere Lula Gregory on an active warrant for the murder of Ishmael Porter.

Iman Cashmere Lula Gregory, 25, is charged with murder in the death of Ishamel Porter.

He was found dead at 323 Sherman Street in Elkhart, IN on May 26, 2019.

Police have linked Gregory to his death, and she was charged with murder on May 31, 2019, in the Elkhart Circuit Court.

Prosecutors sealed the charge and the warrant at the time in an attempt to find her without her being aware of the warrant.

Because police and the United States Marshals haven’t been sucessful in finding her, the state unsealed the case in hopes of apprehending her.

Gregory is about 5’7” and weighs around 190 pounds.

She has been known to wear her hair very short or with dreadlocks.
