WASHINGTON (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Fort Wayne’s NBC traveled to our nation’s capital to share the honor given to a northeast Indiana recipient whose work was celebrated Tuesday night at the National Jefferson Awards Dinner and Gala at the Mayflower Hotel.

Tisha Stotlar created the group “Bring It, Push It, Own It” to inspire and motivate young women with mentoring through various physical activities.

For her efforts, Stotlar received honors during Tuesday’s ceremony along with dozens of other generous people from across the country.

Fort Wayne’s NBC anchor Linda Jackson has been with Stotlar throughout her trip to the nation’s capital which included a meet and greet with Indiana Senators Todd Young and Mike Braun.
