Area pools preparing to open for the season

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – It’s a sign that summer is nearly here: pools are opening left and right.

New Haven’s Jury Pool has plans to open for the season on Saturday, May 25.

Regular pool hours there are 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. Holiday hours for Memorial Day and July 4th are 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The City of Fort Wayne Family Aquatic Centers are gearing up to open soon, too.

Northside Pool will be open for Memorial Day weekend on May 25-27, and then will open for its regular season on June 1.

McMillen Pool opens on June 1, and Memorial Pool is set to open on June 15.

Area Splash Pads will open for the season starting May 24.

There are splash pads at Memorial, McCormick, Waynedale, Shoaff, Buckner, Robert E. Meyers, Taylor’s Dream Boundless Playground, and Franklin Park.
