Reds call up Norwell grad

CINCINNATI, Ohio (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – The Cincinnati Reds have called up a Norwell High School graduate and Ossian native.

Josh VanMeter spent 7 years in the minor leagues and currently leads the international league in home runs and RBIs.

The 24-year-old second baseman has been on fire lately with the Triple-A Louisville Bats, an affiliate of the Reds.

On Sunday, the team made it official.
