FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – A woman appears to be OK after her car drove off the road and slammed into a gas station car wash Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Shell gas station on Dupont Road.

Surveillance video from the gas station shows the moment the car veers off the road and crashes into the side of the car wash.

Natalie Lambert, a manager at the gas station who was working at the time, said she was helping a customer at the register and heard a loud bang.

“I assumed it like was the trash getting picked up by the garbage truck, and thought nothing of it until my customer walked out, came back in and said, ‘You know somebody ran into your carwash?'” Lambert said.

Lambert said the woman who was behind the wheel looked shaken up but was doing OK after a few minutes.
