Police respond to vehicle in water Friday morning

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Police responded after a vehicle ended up in the water Friday morning.

The report came in around 6:11 Friday morning just north of the intersection at Engle and Smith. When police arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle stuck in the marsh.

Police at the scene tell us two people were inside the vehicle. They were able to get out safely.

A tow truck responded to try to get the vehicle out of the marsh.  Fort Wayne’s NBC has a crew on the scene and will provide updates as they become available.
