Police use megaphone to get Fort Wayne man out of his home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — Police responded to a home at the intersection of Kensington Drive and Carrington Boulevard off cook road around 1 Friday morning.

Police told our crew at the scene they responded to the home after family members of a man inside said they were concerned for his well being.

Police say SWAT team members were called in for their own safety they attempted to get the man to come out with a megaphone.

After more than an hour they were able to get the person out and take them to a hospital. Police say the man was not arrested.
