FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Fort Wayne Community Schools has decided to close school three days in a row after record-breaking cold.
FWCS will remain closed Friday because of transportation issues, a FWCS official says.
School leaders point to the time buses need to warm up before running again, and they say Thursday’s temperatures are not warm enough to do that.
FWCS closed school on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
District offices will be open on Friday.
The students and staff will have the make-up day on Friday, May 31.
