Driver able to walk away from crash near Coldwater and Cook Road

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Despite the grisly look of the crash, the driver was able to walk away from a crash Thursday afternoon.

Around 1 p.m., a woman driving a pickup truck near the intersection of Coldwater and Cook Road rolled her vehicle up against a utility pole.

Police on the scene tell Fort Wayne’s NBC the woman swerved to miss an animal, and then ended up against a utility pole.

She was able to walk away from the crash with no serious injuries.

Crews are working to remove the car.
