City leaders host public input meeting for riverfront development project

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — City leaders want to hear from you for the next phases of riverfront development.

They are inviting people to join them at the Grand Wayne Center for the latest progress on the riverfront development project including details on Promenade Park, which is due to open this summer.

Members from the development firm say they want to hear people’s ideas as they work on the riverfront master plan so they can design a riverfront experience that reflects the vision of residents.

The meeting is set for 6 to 8 p.m. at the Grand Wayne Center in the Anthony Wayne Ballroom.  Snacks will be served and people attending will have an opportunity to win tickets to Riverfront Fort Wayne’s Winter Cozy, scheduled for January 26 at Headwaters Park West.
