Auburn police arrest Garrett man in sports store burglary

AUBURN, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – An 18-year-old man is accused of breaking into an Auburn sports store Friday morning.

Noah G. Powless, 18, is accused of breaking the front glass window of the Auburn Dunham’s store. He’s facing burglary and criminal mischief charges.

Noah G. Powless, 18, of Garrett, is facing burglary and criminal mischief charges after police say he broke the front glass window on Dunham Sports in Auburn.

Police responded to an alarm going off at the sports store around 1:13 a.m. Friday.

They found Powless nearby.

Auburn Police Chief Martin McCoy credits the quick response and teamwork of the responding officers for the arrest.
