Fort Wayne man wanted on murder, robbery charges

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – A 22-year-old Fort Wayne man is wanted on an active murder and robbery warrant out of Allen County, the Sheriff’s Department says.

Cordell Dewayne Patterson, 22, is wanted out of Allen County for murder and robbery charges. Patterson is described as being 5’9″, 160 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair.

It is not immediately clear what crime Patterson is being charged in connection to, but police have previously named him as a person of interest in the Cass Street death investigation.

Fort Wayne’s NBC previously reported that officers found a woman dead inside of a home in the 2400 block of Cass Street. The coroner has identified the woman as 33-year-old Laura Elizabeth Larkin.
