Corinne Rose

In 1995, Corinne had the privilege of joining the ABC21 and Fort Wayne’s NBC news team as a general assignment reporter covering about every kind of story out there.

From early 2003 to 2013, Corinne anchored the noon news and also created and produced the highly popular Noon Extra show for three years, where viewers could call in live on the air to ask questions of the expert of the day.

You’ll see Corinne regularly covering the police and crime beats, and in her reports you’ll see her covering everything from homicides to human interest stories. Digging deep on issues as well as ethically protecting her sources are central to her reporting.

Having grown up in Northbrook, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, Corinne graduated from Miami of Ohio with a double major in English and Political Science. In the spring of her junior year of college, Corinne studied at Miami’s Luxembourg campus and traveled throughout Europe to learn about history, culture and architecture. Corinne also sang in a Luxembourgish choir where no English was spoken at all!

One of the highlights of that semester abroad was attending the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, as her friends cheered on the USA hockey team as it beat Italy. What an experience!

In her free time, Corinne sings with the many friends she’s made in the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Chorus. She enjoys working out, cooking, reading, and traveling as much as her busy schedule allows.

Corinne loves living in Fort Wayne with her husband and their two cats, Aspen and Hugo.

Please send Corinne an email when you have a story idea you’d like to share at crose@wpta21.com.
