FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – The students have spoken: Purdue University Fort Wayne is getting a popular bagel restaurant on campus and it opens on Monday.
The first-ever Fort Wayne Einstein Bros. Bagels is opening on the ground floor of Kettler Hall on Monday, Sept. 9 at 7:30 a.m.
Einstein Bros.’ menu offers fresh-baked gourmet, specialty, and classic bagels with different types of cream cheese.
You can find breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as sweets and snacks, along with Caribu Coffee, tea and fountain drinks.
This location is open to campus and the community.
The Purdue Fort Wayne Student Government Association asked students for what kind of name-brand dining options they’d like added to campus, and the bagel shop was on the top of the list.
Einstein Bros. Bagels is also included on the university’s meal plan.
Hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
It will be closed on weekends, holidays, and whenever classes are not in session.
