FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Fort Wayne’s own “mob” is getting bigger.

Mob of kangaroos, that is.

The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo announced Thursday they are adding 9 new kangaroos to the group.

Four females, one of which just gave birth to a young joey, and five males will join the existing mob at the zoo.

The youngest roo is about 7 months old, and the oldest ones in the group are about 3 years old.

These guys came from Australia and traveled together to the Fort.

The keepers allow newcomers like these guys to acclimate to their new environment, and here soon they will be put out on display.

You can catch these new marsupials in the Australian Adventure Outback at the zoo this summer.
