Two-car crash leaves one person with life threatening injuries Saturday night

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – A two-car crash leaves one person with life-threatening injuries on Saturday night.

Police responded to a call around 9:06 p.m. at the intersection of Coliseum Blvd. and Executive Blvd.

Officers arrived on the scene to a passenger car with one person in it and an SUV that had four people inside.

Police say the SUV was turning left to travel westbound on Coliseum Blvd. where the SUV was hit by the other vehicle who was going eastbound.

All were transported to a nearby hospital where doctors say one male, who was sitting in the back seat of the SUV, suffered from life-threatening injuries.

Investigators reported alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash on behalf of the passenger car driver.

The crash is still under further investigation.
