Investigation underway after worker electrocuted at DeKalb Molded Plastics

BUTLER, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — The Butler Police Department is investigating after a worker suffered an electric shock at a manufacturing facility.

Representatives from DeKalb Molded Plastics sent out a statement saying the incident happened around 1:30 Thursday afternoon.

The incident left a worker in critical condition. The company said no determination has been made for the cause of the injury.

Sources say the worker suffered an electric shock, and was in full cardiac arrest with paramedics arrived.
