FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE’S NBC) – The Nancy Rehm Border Wars were played on Sunday for bragging rights between Indiana and Ohio. Central Noble’s Sydney Freeman lead the Indiana girls to a victory, 83-56. The Ball State commit scored 20 points and pulled down 9 rebounds.
“It was just really cool since this game means so much to the Fort Wayne community,” Freeman said. “This is our last high school game, so it was really fun playing in it.”
The Indiana boys fell behind to Ohio and couldn’t find their way back, losing 94-88. Blackhawk’s Frankie Davidson scores 18 points, while Bishop Dwenger’s Hayden Smithey finishes with 23 points.
