Fort Wayne man charged with dealing crack cocaine

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – A 63-year-old man is accused of dealing cocaine at his southside home.

Detectives had received numerous complaints and tips that someone was dealing cocaine at an apartment at 3500 Warsaw Street.

Police purchased crack cocaine from Donald G. Williams, 63, and that’s how they were able to secure a search warrant at his residence.

Officers launched an investigation, and just after 7:45 p.m. Thursday, detectives with the Fort Wayne Police Department Vice & Narcotics Division served a search warrant at the apartment in question.

Inside the home, police found .8 grams of crack cocaine, 9.9 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $505 in cash.

Police arrested Williams on three counts of dealing cocaine and dealing a common nuisance.
