Fort Wayne’s NBC filed a public records request to learn more about what happened that night.
We received a detailed list with everything the suspects got away with.
22 guns in all, that’s over $8,000 dollars worth of steel.
Police attempted a K9 track which led them to the 300 block of Cox Drive.
Creig Hobbs is a frequent customer at B&H Firearms and says he knows the owner pretty well.
“He’s a good guy, a nice guy, helpful, knowledgeable, he’s been there for a long time,” Hobbs went on to say he hates to see the man taken advantage of.
As for what Hobbs had to say to those who did this, “I doubt that I would waste my time on a thief. I don’t have much for a thief. This guy is a pretty good guy, if they needed help, or if their kids were hungry or something like that he probably would have helped them out. But when you go in and take that’s a whole other animal and it’s wrong.”
Police are still looking for the two men responsible, if you know anything you’re asked to call crime stoppers at 260-436-7867.
