For this week’s edition of Focused on the Fork, we turned up the temperature all the way to 900 degrees.

The Alto Grado Food Truck serves up savory and sweet pizzas, made in an amazing wood-burning brick oven.

Owner Rick Doering tells Fort Wayne’s NBC Today anchor Julian Teekaram how he got started.

“I was online researching wood-fired ovens for my backyard and I came across a company called Fire Within in Denver and the next thing I know I’m on a flight to Denver reading a book called “Rolling in the Dough” and two years later we are all over Fort Wayne selling pizza.”

Doering says they are in the process of opening up a brick and mortar location.
