Just a couple blocks away from Indianapolis Motor Speedway, 1911 Grill pays homage to the Indy 500 in more ways than one.
The restaurant houses a state-of-the-art indoor karting track, so customers can enjoy racing and a hot meal at the same time.
1911 Grill is owned by former Indy Car Driver Sarah Fisher. At 19-years-old, she was the youngest woman to start in the Indianapolis 500. Now she’s giving others a taste of the fast life.
“Well really, 1911 Grill was established to give our guests who are here on the karting side or the event side somewhere to hang out and grab a beer, grab a burger, grab something good to eat while their kids and friends are racing so that they didn’t necessarily have to behind the wheel to enjoy racing,” said Fisher.
