Police confirm that Democratic Primary Mayoral candidate Tommy Schrader is under arrest tonight.
The Democratic race for Fort Wayne’s 6th District city council seat was significant, not because of close vote totals, but because of who secured the nomination.
The polls are officially closed. Allen County election officials say early voting totals came in at 2 percent, they are hoping for an overall turnout of 12 to 15 percent.
Allen County Election Board members say there have been at least two reports of issues at the polls Tuesday morning.
Early voting for this year’s primary election has concluded. Early voting numbers give an indication of how turnout will be when the polls open Tuesday.
Huntington County had five races during the May 2019 primary election, including a Mayoral election.
