Fright Night returns to downtown following 2020 cancelation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — The popular Halloween event taking place across downtown Fort Wayne is back for 2021 following last year's cancelation due to COVID-19.

2021 Fright Night is set to kick off Saturday, Oct. 16.

The family-friendly event is full of activities from the popular Zombie Walk through the streets of downtown to scavenger hunts and trick-or-treating.

The Zombie Walk is set to take off at 5:30 p.m. from the I&M building, with a pre-party starting at 1 p.m.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no face painting this year and organizers say they encourage attendees to wear a face mask.

For more information about the spooky night, you can grab a Fright Night Survival Map (shown below) during regular business hours starting Oct. 4 at any of the following locations: Downtown Improvement District, Visit Fort Wayne, Allen County Public Library, Embassy Theatre, and the Grand Wayne Convention Center.
