A gloomy start to the work week is in store with widespread showers expected on and off through the day. The remnants of what was once Hurricane Nicholas will push into the Midwest through the start of the week, keeping skies overcast and dew points elevated when rain is not falling. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees with warm and humid air persisting over northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio thanks to the tropical elements of the system.
Showers will continue overnight and into Tuesday ahead of a cold front that will bring major changes to our weather. Highs will reach the mid-to-upper 70s tomorrow afternoon, but the arriving cold front will bring possible thunderstorms Tuesday evening and a major drop in temperatures for Wednesday.
Have a great Monday!
