McLaughlin shatters own 400mH WR in 51.46 for Olympic gold

TOKYO (Fort Wayne's NBC) - Sydney McLaughlin and Dalilah Muhammad put on a show in the 400-meter hurdles final.

The two American came in as heavy favorites and didn't disappoint.

McLaughlin won gold in a world record time, breaking the old mark by nearly half of a second!

Muhammad also broke the old mark by over .3.

A remarkable final for the Americans taking home gold and silver.
