HOMETOWN HERO: Fort Wayne native Jeff Butler in second Paralympic Games as part of Wheelchair Rugby team

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) -- 31-year old Homestead High School graduate Jeff Butler is going for gold in the Tokyo Paralympics later this summer.

He and Team U.S.A. won silver in the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games and hope for an even better outcome this time around.

Evening anchor Linda Jackson talked with Jeff and his parents, Dr. Steven Butler and Kathy Weir, about the team's chances this time around and about Jeff's life. A life that he's dedicated to making life better for others.
