FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - Right now the best athletes in the world are competing in the Olympic games and although they come in all different shapes and sizes one thing is constant, they take their nutrition seriously!

Fort Wayne personal trainer Connor Apple talks about the different foods an Olympian may incorporate into their diets depending on their sport. Examples include weightlifters more likely to focus on protein based diets and cyclists or runners incorporate many more carbs.

Connor goes through a number of grocery items to weigh their pros and cons including, eggs, peanut butter, humus, milk, canned goods, and more.
