FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Local celebrity and singer Addison Agen has come a long way since her time on NBC's The Voice. She picked up quite the following after the show, dedicated fans who have been waiting patiently for her to release new music.

Now, the long wait is over. Addison released her debut album "When the Morning Comes." And she kicks off her concert tour Thursday night in Fort Wayne at the Arts United Center.

She tells Fort Wayne's NBC that she can't wait to get back to performing in front of a live audience.

"It feels really good. It's really the first long tour that I've ever done. This one is just gonna be so special because now it's this music that people know and have listened to and that's never really happened before."

Folks are used to seeing Addison perform renditions of popular songs, but going on tour with her own music will be an experience she'll truly treasure.

If you'd like to purchase tickets to tonight's concert, go to artstix.org or call 260-422-4226.
