The FWFD release days and times for the use of fireworks

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - Since firework stores are opening up around The Fort, the Fort Wayne Fire Department want to remind you when you can set them off.

On the actual day of the 4th of July, the FWFD say fireworks may be used from 10 a.m. until midnight.

From June 29 - July 3 and July 5 - 9, fireworks may be used only between 5 p.m. and two hours after dusk (approximately 11 p.m.).

There is a Fort Wayne Ordinance governing the use of fireworks and a state law that governs the sale of fireworks.
