FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - The man accused of killing a mother and her three children entered a preliminary plea of not guilty.
On Thursday, 21-year-old Cohen Hancz-Barron not only entered a preliminary plea of not guilty, but also asked for a public defender.
Barron was arrested June 2 after court documents say he killed 26-year-old Sarah Zent and her three kids, 5-year-old Carter, 3-year-old Ashton, and their 2-year-old sister Aubree earlier that day.
He is charged with four counts of murder.
Barron will be back in court on June 23, 2021 to learn when his trail will take place.
