FORT WAYNE,Ind.(Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Traditionally it is safe to plant tender plants around the middle of May. We are heading into the middle of May now but there still is a couple more chances of frost. Tonight and Tuesday night the temperatures expected to drop into the low to mid 30s. If you planted earlier this spring and have been covering your plants you will need to do so tonight and tomorrow night as well. Temperatures later in the week are expected to warm a bit and that should end the frost possibilities.
Tonight partly cloudy. Low 33.
Tomorrow mostly sunny. High 56.
