IBA Responding for Indiana

CARMEL, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - The Indiana Broadcasters Association has recognized a partnership between Fort Wayne's NBC and Community Harvest Food Bank with its 2021 Cardinal Community Service Award.

The award is given to Hoosier television and radio stations that strive to give back to their community through fundraising and other charitable efforts.

Fort Wayne's NBC and its media partners raised more than $60,000 for Community Harvest in the July 2020 effort, which was conducted with consideration given to social distancing, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The station aired an intensive on-air campaign and used its digital and social media platforms to reach thousands more.
