TinCaps set for long-awaited home season opener

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE'S NBC) - Over 600 days since the Fort Wayne TinCaps last played a game, they will take the field in a Minor League, High-A ball home season opener, bringing in the West Michigan Whitecaps at 7:05 p.m on Tuesday night.

Player development never stopped for the game's youngest and brightest, now, looking to take their games to a higher level in front of the fans at Parkview Field.

The TinCaps will welcome the 2020 MLB Draft No. 1 overall selection in the Whitecaps Spencer Torkelson and his powerful bat.
