KALAMAZOO, Mich. (FORT WAYNE'S NBC) - Bluffton grad turned Western Michigan standout, D'Wayne Eskridge, selected No. 56 overall to the Seattle Seahawks in the 2021 NFL Draft on Friday night.
The 24-year-old slot receiver followed up a breakout season with the Mustangs by turning heads in this year's Senior Bowl.
Standing 5-foot-9, Eskridge flashed a blazing 4.38 40-time at Western Michigan's Pro Day.
Eskridge watched his 2021 NFL Draft stock soar from seventh round projected prospect to, widely, expected day two pick, within the last year.
