Burke signs with Saint Francis

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE'S NBC) - Two-time State Champion and Blackhawk Christian guard, Zane Burke finally puts pen to paper and signs with the University of Saint Francis. He will play basketball for the Cougars.

Burke leaves the Braves programs a 1,000-point scorer.

Head Coach Marc Davidson describes Burke as a winner too.

"I've always been looking forward to playing college basketball my whole life. I never thought it'd happen. I put in countless hours at the gym and I worked really hard for this and finally I succeed at it," Burke said.

Cougars' Head Coach Chad LaCross says he's excited to see Burke contribute to his program right away.
