FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) -- After singer Blake Shelton didn't choose to keep him on his team at the end of his Battle Round Monday night on NBC's 'The Voice', Homestead High School grad Keegan Ferrell found a new home on Team Nick.
Singer Nick Jonas made a major steal on the show, choosing to get the 21 year old from Fort Wayne, on his team.
Ferrell is studying music business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee and became a competitor on the popular program while studying during school.
During the Blind Auditions in his first appearance on 'The Voice', Ferrell impressed Shelton and Kelly Clarkson enough for them to both turn their chairs around.
Ferrell's story is an amazing one, and Fort Wayne's NBC News evening anchor Tom Powell will have another exclusive interview with him Monday night at 11 on Fort Wayne's NBC News.
