Local athletes sign to play college sports

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE'S NBC) - High school athletes in the Fort sign ti play college athletics.

Leo cross country runner, Lily Kissner says this is a dream come true.

"I think I've thought about running in college since my first race. I've been running like forever, so being able to sit here and sign the paper finally. I can't even describe it. It's so amazing." she said.

Snider track and cross country athlete, Johnathon Spuller signs with IU Kokomo. Spuller's classmate, Tyler Kaiser brings his tennis racket to Trine University in the fall.

Lastly, Bishop Dwenger's Kayliana Hammel takes her talents to Holy Cross.
