FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE'S NBC) - The Indiana Tech men's and women's basketball programs add WHAC Championship trophies to the collection.
Taya Andrews scores 24 points and leads the women's program past Concordia University, 65-59.
"We have worked hard for this every day in practice, defensively and offensively. We just emphasized defense and we really came together as a team today to get stops and convert on the offensive side," Andrews said. "This is a great feeling for my teammates and coaches especially."
As for the men's team, Josh Kline was solid in the paint on Monday night. He finished 12 of his 15 field goal attempts and lead all scorers with 27 points.
The Warrior knock off Rochester University, 85-68.
The fun doesn't end here. Both teams get automatic bids to the NAIA National Championship Tournament.
