MARION, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Allen County police say a Fort Wayne man who was reported missing in late January has been found dead in Marion.

Officers alerted the public on Feb. 12 that Glenn Henry, 59, had gone missing two weeks prior and was seeking help locating him.

Then on Tuesday, the Allen County Sheriff's Department confirmed that Henry was found dead at the Walmart in Marion, located at 3240 S Western Ave.

According to a release from the Marion Police Department, they were called to the Walmart around 6:30 p.m. Monday for a welfare check.

Douglas Reed said he was driving in the parking lot and recognized a red truck as his co-worker Glenn Henry's and knew he had been missing so he contacted police.

Police say the truck was locked so they used a tool to get unlock it and found a body inside. The coroner confirmed it was Henry.

Officers say they are working to get surveillance video of the parking lot to see how long he had been there. An autopsy is pending scheduling at the end of the week.

The investigation is ongoing at the time of this report.
