Fort Wayne Lao community group to host food distribution

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - The Lao Community Response Team of Fort Wayne will offer a food distribution this weekend in response to needs related to the coronavirus pandemic.

The group is working with the Laotian American Society to pass out 600 food boxes provided by the USDA "Farmers to Families" program.

The distribution takes place Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Buddha Temple Worship Center, located at 6409 Decatur Road.

The event takes place from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
